Parent Zone

At the Academy, we believe that it is important for parents and carers to be given the opportunity to discover a little more about the achievements of their children.

Parent Voice

Would you like the opportunity to have your say and be listened to?

Have the chance to contribute towards the development of your child by being involved in sharing your views and ideas with Kearsley Academy and other parents?

PARENT VOICE is a newly formed Group. The aim of this Group is to involve as many parents as possible allowing you to participate at future meetings and initiatives. We want to hear YOUR VOICE and be involved in helping us to make Kearsley Academy an amazing learning experience for your child.
If this sounds like something you would like to be a part of, please contact Miss M Hughes Assistant Principal on : 01204 332 555.
Your details will then be forwarded to Mrs Lisa Bailey (Chair Person and Year 7 Parent). We look forward to hearing from you.

Parents and carers have a key role to play in student success and progress. We are keen to work in partnership with parents and carers and encourage their active support for their child’s progress in learning. We are committed to improving communication with parents, from making sure you can talk to the right person when you telephone, to providing clear reports on each student’s progress and of course letting parents know about particular successes or problems.

Parents receive a report every year and can meet staff at parents’ evenings. But parents are always welcome at the Academy and if there are any specific concerns, can always arrange a visit to the school. Using the links on the left you can see information about the curriculum we offer and events especially for parents or carers, for example Parents Evenings, which are coming up in the near future.
